Global Competency Training
Bridging country and culture through understanding and education
Effective communication and collaboration between people from different nations and backgrounds are greatly enhanced through understanding of cultural norms. The International Center designs customized Global Competency Training programs to help companies, organizations and agencies interact more comfortably and productively with people from other cultures.
Training programs share insights about how culture affects business practices, particularly in regard to communication, management and leadership styles. Participants gain skills they use to bridge cultural gaps in the workplace and in cross-cultural relationships with customers, constituents and colleagues. Training is often used to prepare executives for meetings abroad or to host visitors from another culture. Equally important, The International Center works on an ongoing basis to help companies and organizations with multinational workforces interact more effectively.
