The International Center Welcomes Three New Staff Members

(INDIANAPOLIS – May 13, 2019) – The International Center has added three new members to its team, bringing the combined total of full- and part-time employees to 22. Leslie Erlenbaugh joins The International Center as the new International Visitors Program Manager. Skilled  in global leadership, she most recently served as an International Student Academic Advisor at Ball State University. The International Visitors Leadership Program is an exchange program that allows participants to spend several days in the Indianapolis community shadowing their professional counterparts and experiencing Hoosier culture. Audrey Hughey joins The International Center as the Executive Assistant and Administrative Liaison to the Board with a wealth of knowledge in relationship management, most recently serving as Membership Director at The Columbia Club. Hughey’s interest in global understanding led her to receive an undergraduate degree in Natural Resources/Geography from Ball State University. World Trade Center Indianapolis and The International Center Sign MOU to Formalize Collaboration Between the Two Organizations

(INDIANAPOLIS – April 1, 2019) . . . A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between WTC Indy LLC (“WTC Indy”) and The International Center (“IC”; “The Center”) intended to promote better collaboration between the two entities. The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony at The IC’s offices on March 6, presided over by Doris Anne Sadler, President and CEO of WTC Indy, and Martin Baier, President and CEO of The International Center. THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER RECEIVES $500,000 GRANT FROM LILLY ENDOWMENT INC.

(INDIANAPOLIS – January 8, 2019) — The International Center has been awarded a $500,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to support The Center’s programming and general operations in 2019. The Endowment grant is given in two phases: a single installment of $300,000 followed by a challenge grant of $200,000. The challenge grant is designed to inspire other donors to support The International Center and will match the gift dollar-for-dollar. THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER ADDS TO GROWING RELOCATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT

INDIANAPOLIS – April 25, 2018 – The International Center has added Sandra Pfister to its award-winning relocation services department. Pfister, a graduate of SRH University of Applied Science in Heidelberg, Germany, has assumed the role of relocation services assistant, where she will coordinate client relocations, maintain welcome materials, and produce monthly newsletters designed for newly relocated expatriates settling in Central Indiana.
