Presentation of French Legion of Honor

Join the Consul General of France to the Midwest, Guillaume Lacroix, in bestowing two WWII veterans with the French Legion of Honor medal.

The medal is the highest French order of merit for military and civil merits, and will be awarded to Daniel J. Mattingly of USS LST 212, Sicily – Normandy campaigns and Marvin R. Sabatino of USAT Borinquen – Medical Corps, Normandy – D-Day landing.
