World Refugee Day Dinner 2017

Catholic Charities Indianapolis Refugee and Immigrant Services has been resettling refugees in the Indianapolis area since 1975 and since then has resettled over 19,000 refugees.

World Refugee Day Dinner 2017 will highlight experiences of refugees and commemorate their contribution to the global community of Indianapolis. The dinner event will honor staff, volunteers, community members and organizations who welcome refugees to the city of Indianapolis and contribute to the success of refugees.

Guests will be invited to taste ethnic cuisine from the home countries of clients, listen to ethnic music, see client’s artwork through their art therapy sessions, and enjoy a presentation from a guest speaker. Guests will also have an opportunity to network with community members, CCI-Refugee and Immigrant Services staff and refugees.
