Honorary Consul of France to Indiana

Martin joined the International Center in 2011. He served the organization as Vice President, Programs and Services until he assumed the position of President and CEO in 2017. He also serves as Honorary Consul of France to Indiana.

Born and raised in Germany, Martin served 22 years in the German Air Force (GAF), ultimately achieving the rank of Lt. Colonel. His assignments and liaison functions took him to several European countries and North America.

During his military career, he obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Military Science (Aviation and business). In addition, he attended the University of Duisburg and Essen in Germany where he earned a bachelor’s joint degree in economics, business, English and cultural studies.

After his move to Indiana and before joining The International Center, Martin formed his own business, All German Solutions LLC, to provide project and program management, as well as cross-cultural training.

Martin currently serves as a board member of Alliance Francaise, the Indiana India Business Council, and Global Ties U.S. He is also active in the greater Indianapolis community and serves on advisory committees of several local organizations.
